Technical Specialist I - MCH Core Lab

✓Requirements
Certifications
✓Bachelor's degree in clinical/medical laboratory science (CLS/MLS), medical technology (MT), chemistry, biological science from an accredited institution, or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in addition to a certificate in MLS.
✓In histopathology or non-testing laboratories, a bachelor's degree with laboratory certification if applicable.
✓A HEW certificate may be substituted for the specified degree.
✓ASCP or other certification pertinent to the laboratory field may be required depending on the laboratory specialty and prevailing regulatory requirements.
✓ALL MUST be included for your application to be considered:
✓Cover Letter
✓Transcripts (unofficial copy accepted)
✓Internal candidates must provide their past performance appraisal
Education
✓Foreign trained lab personnel to provide a detailed equivalency High School evaluation to include US equivalent degree at the applicant's expense.

✓DLMP employees that have been in their current lab/position less than 2 years must attach early release approval from their supervisor and Non-DLMP internal applicants that have been in their current department/position for less than one year must attach early release approval from the supervisor is

About the role

Works with the Technical Specialist II, Technical Specialist Coordinator, and the laboratory management team to provide direction for the technical operation of the laboratory, including operation maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and assays. Validates and documents operational changes using the test life cycle process (TLCP).
