✓High School Diploma, GED, or Project Search Graduate | Environmental Services | Required
Qualifications
✓Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills needed to proficiently provide service to a customer population to include: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
✓Must assume primary accountability for performing daily cleaning of assigned areas (patient rooms, bathrooms, emptying and cleaning trash receptacles, high dusting, sanitizing and spot cleaning, inspection and cleaning of empty patient rooms daily, washing and disinfecting hospital walls and ceiling
✓Must perform assigned cleaning duties (including special cleaning and other area assignments) according to the standard operating procedures of the department.
✓Must prioritize and make suggestions to his/her supervisor regarding periodical cleaning in assigned areas.
✓Must assume responsibility for reporting safety hazards, and cleaning emergency spills when sighted.
✓Must perform responsibilities in a timely, efficient, cost effective, confidential and professional manner.
✓Must have extensive contact with inter and intra departmental personnel, patients and their family members, physicians, and public.
✓Must have good communication skills and reflect a positive, caring attitude toward both staff and the public.
