Power Engineering Certification is preferred.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED required.
Qualifications
✓Able to work independently, make quick decisions and prioritize workload.
✓Requires general knowledge of stationary engines, electrical and mechanical equipment.
✓Requires current knowledge of various federal; state; local; OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations.
✓Requires the ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
✓Requires a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
✓General maintenance also required.
About the role
Operates, repairs, documents and performs preventive maintenance needs of the powerhouse electro/mechanical systems within the facility. Operates stationary engines and mechanical equipment, which may would Building management system (BMS), steam boilers, generators, AHU's, water softeners and other auxiliary equipment to provide utility services.
