Assist the surgeon(s) by providing basic instrumentation and sterile techniques for procedures performed in the Operating Room and provide patient care in the clinical setting. The Surgical Tech II is also responsible for the care, handling and maintenance of basic surgical equipment and instrumentation. #ACDP Qualifications Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups. Required
High School Diploma or GED. Specific course work: Graduate of surgical technologist program : Necessary

Demonstrates a willingness to learn new methods, procedures and techniques resulting from departmental or organization change. 7. Adapts quickly and easily to change and adjusted behavior and approach to work when necessary to achieve goals. Required Licensure/Certifications: Certification from NBSTSA, NCCT, or AST within 1 year of date of hire/transfer.
