Responsibilities Performs moves, adds, and changes (MAC) for IP, digital, and analog telephone systems. Configure and update voicemail boxes, call routing, and user features across supported platforms.
Conduct basic programming and system adjustments within PBX environments. Provide end user training on supported telecom platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve issues and requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolution and documentation.
Assist with system upgrades, equipment installations, and routine maintenance tasks. Document all work performed, including configuration changes, ticket updates, and customer interactions. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to support telecom infrastructure and service continuity.
Maintain compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and telecom best practices. Deliver high-quality customer service and support to end users in office and field environments. Must be able to support after hours telecom issues as part of an on call rotation.
Must be able to travel between USA Health facilities. Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards Regular and prompt attendance Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required Related duties as assigned Additional Information Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Required OR Associate's Degree in computer science, information systems or a related field and 3 years of experience in network, telecommunications, or IT field work. Required Directly related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
Required Experience with Mitel, Avaya, Kloud7, ASCOM, or Voalte. Preferred Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
