You’ll need
Certifications
✓Must have current CPR certification.
✓Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.
Education
✓High School graduate or the equivalent GED. Must pass the cardiac monitoring class during the orientation process, which includes testing in A&P and basic rhythm detection. Medical terminology is desirable.

About the role
Functions as a health care team member under the direction of an RN. The Telemetry Monitor Technician will be monitoring, reading, interpreting and communicating EKG rhythms from the central station to the health provider.
