You’ll need
Certifications
✓Current CPR certification (BLS-Health Care Provider), required.
✓Previous health care experience as a Nursing Assistant, Unit Coordinator, Medical Assistant, nursing student, EMT, Medic or experience with cardiology patients, required.
Education
✓High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Ability to identify abnormal rhythms and or changes in rhythms preferred
About the role
Monitors and records data from medical equipment to ensure proper functioning and patient safety. Responsible for equipment maintenance.

Respond to all monitorRespond to all monitor alarms, report heart rhythm changes to RN or MD promptly
Clean, maintain, and inventoryClean, maintain, and inventory all equipment associated with cardiac monitors and other equipment as assigned
Precepts new employees, abilityPrecepts new employees, ability to educate other employees on correct usage of both telemetry and bedside monitors
