The Unit Secretary/Telemetry Technician's function is to perform the clerical duties of the nursing unit, is responsible for observing, documenting, and reporting cardiac rhythms of patients on Telemetry. Coursework/Training: Dysrhythmia class and passes exam within six (6) months of hire. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 6 months General clerical experience or successful completion of Ward Clerk/Unit Secretary training program.
