Provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients. Verbally redirects patients from engaging in at risk behaviors detrimental toward self or others.

Alerts nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. Is knowledgeable and supportive of the organizations confidentiality and related hospital policies.
