Education
✓Lead an independent, externally funded program of investigator-initiated cancer population science research.
✓Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline and have a record of rigorous cancer-focused research appropriate to academic rank.
Qualifications
✓Develop and sustain a strong portfolio of peer-reviewed extramural funding as PI or MPI.
✓Publish high-impact scholarship that advances cancer prevention and control and improves population health.
✓Develop interdisciplinary and interprogrammatic collaborations that connect population science with clinical, translational, community-engaged, and other areas of cancer research.
✓Leverage the scale and diversity of Jefferson Health to conduct impactful population-based, health system, and healthcare delivery research.
✓Mentor students, fellows, and junior investigators and contribute to the development of the next generation of cancer population scientists, consistent with academic rank.
