THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITY ASSISTANT

Position in the West Place Drop-In Center. The Therapeutic Activities Assistant who will model recovery-based behavior in a community based behavioral health program. A Drop-In Center is a central place for self-help, advocacy, education and socialization.

As a therapeutic activity assistant, the job provides an opportunity for assisting mental health consumers on socializing and networking that addresses the isolation felt by many, especially those in mental health recovery.
