Licensure
✓Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
Certifications
✓As applicable to job duties, maintain current certification in First Aid and CPR.
Education
✓Bachelor's degree in a Mental Health field.
Qualifications
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills with children, parents, and professionals to provide information regarding the children's needs and strengths and the development of appropriate services.
✓Physical abilities required include sufficient mobility, sufficient strength to lift/carry a young child, language skills, ability to utilize emergency physical interventions, and to perform written paperwork (manual or automated).

About the role

The YCATS therapist works with young children ages birth to 8 years and their families providing strengths-based mental health therapy services. The YCATS Program is looking for therapists with experience working with children and families or a strong desire to learn to work with young children and families.
