Responsibilities San Marcos Treatment Center, a 212-bed, seclusion free, psychiatric residential treatment facility located between Austin and San Antonio in the heart of Central Texas! San Marcos spreads across 65-acres with an abundance of trees and wildlife.

We have 13 unique living units separated by gender, age, and development levels with two swimming pools, two gymnasiums, sports court, playing fields, ropes course, canteen, social area, and a healing trail. We provide 24-hour psychiatric care to girls and boys ages 6 to 17 with customized therapeutic approaches and intensive behavioral programs teach young patients to moderate their behavior, manage emotions and improve social functioning. Responsible and accountable for providing direct behavioral healthcare services to children adolescents with mental illness in residential treatment programs, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, group, and family therapy, case management activities, patient and family education, and discharge and aftercare planning. Join a clinical team of highly motivated professionals who are growing, learning and presenting evidence based practices at national conferences and sharing the following areas of expertise Play therapy Garden based therapy Ropes Nurtured Heart DBT Smart Recovery Screamfree Parenting Trauma Focused Yoga Qualifications Requirements TX LPC, LPC-Associate, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or LMFT-Associate Ability to provide effective short term individual, group and family therapy services Exceptional computer skills, proficiency in MS Word and capacity to produce polished desktop clinical documents utilizing computer templates and formats with attention to detail Exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills Ability to establish and maintain customer-oriented services and behavior resulting in positive satisfaction.
