You’ll need
Licensure
✓Master’s degree in Counseling from an accredited school Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the appropriate state to practice
✓Iowa RCP license
Certifications
✓RRT credentials
✓ACLS Mandatory Reporter certification.
Qualifications
✓A minimum of two years previous counseling experience in Behavioral Health.
✓Good communication skills, Knowledge and experience in good interviewing techniques.
✓Ability to understand medical terminology and communicate effectively with persons of diverse backgrounds, age, disabilities, and education levels required.
✓Must be able to communicate effectively with people of diverse professional, educations, and lifestyle backgrounds.
