✓LPC-Associate, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW license required or working to obtain licensure.
Certifications
✓New Master's graduates encouraged to apply 1-3 years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills, with strong clinical assessment skills is a plus Must be state certified in social work or clinical
✓Current AHA CPR certification Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training provided upon hire and competency is required May be required to rotate weekends (approximately every 4-6 weeks)

About the role

Responsibilities Inpatient Therapist - facilitate group therapy, meet individually with patients, assist with discharge planning and participate in treatment team meetings. Cedar Hills Hospital is a behavioral health hospital and Outpatient Services program dedicated to healing patients’ minds and bodies.
