✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Registered Nurse.
✓ASN, Licensed Registered Nurse eligible to practice in FL
Certifications
✓Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
✓ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
✓Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
✓Basic Life Support.
✓Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
✓As per department standard any of the following may be required (ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support, BLS- Basic Life Support, PALS- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NRP- Neonatal Resuscitation Program or ONS-Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card).
✓have BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (dependent upon unit) certification by the AHA or American Red Cross.
Education
✓Associate degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
✓RNs hired prior to 2/2012 are not required to have a BSN to continue in their non-leadership role as an RN.
✓RNs hired after 2/2012 with an Associate degree will have 3 years from their date of hire to complete the BSN degree.
Qualifications
✓RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice.
✓2 years.
✓Candidate can select to commit to a 12-week, 16-week, 18-week, or 24 week contract in the Baptist Health Seasonal Nursing Pool, which is a temporary nursing position. Candidate must commit to the following requirements for the position:
✓Float to all areas within the hospital as needed or assigned
✓Work any three twelve hour shifts per week and every other weekend during the Agreement period for a total of 36 hours per week.
