UCSF Enterprise Strategy & Transformation (EST) seeks an exceptional Transformation Associate to join our highly skilled and engaged team providing internal consulting services to our dynamic, mission-driven institution. The Consultant provides strategic facilitation and coordination support for internal initiatives, helping leaders and teams plan, prioritize, and execute strategy, process improvement, and digital transformation efforts.
The EST staff enjoy challenging and impactful project work, professional development opportunities, and an engaging work environment. Use and apply management consulting skills to deliver programs and projects that involve multiple organizations and stakeholders. Effectively support moderate to complex initiatives and programs, including scheduling, facilitation, documentation, and communications.
Support resolution of a wide range of consulting issues and situations. Receive minimal instruction on planning, researching, and resolving issues, with general instructions and guidance provided on new assignments and/or more unique situations. Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Please Note: This is a full-time contract opportunity for a min. of a two-year duration with the possibility to transfer into regular full-time employment. Our position offers benefits and does require individuals to work full-time onsite in our San Francisco five days a week. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Organizational Change, Business Administration or in a related area AND three or more years relevant experience. Demonstrated knowledge of project proposals and project plans.
Demonstrates analytical, problem solving, project planning and implementation skills. Demonstrated of project management principles, theories and concepts. Ability to assess needs and work collaboratively with team to design solutions to meet those needs.
Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates ability to learn quickly, reason, synthesize and generalize based on information obtained. Ability to coach, facilitate and influence individuals on client teams.
Skilled in facilitation, relationship building, and consulting. Ability to focus on priorities, strategies and vision. Ability to work onsite five days a week at our San Francisco office located at 654 Minnesota Street.
Preferences: Four or more years of relevant experience in universities or management consulting. Uses AI to elevate domain expertise, producing higher-quality insights and reusable patterns that raise the standard of work for others. Has knowledge and experience in the Systems Development Life Cycle to assess, design and implement new technology systems.
Has knowledge and experience in Lean Methodology to assess, design and implement organizational improvements.
