Transitional Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool (Plano Only) Bring your passion for Texas Health So We Are Better + Together Work location:· Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093Work hours:· Full Time/Nights (6:45P-7:15A)· Variable Shifts· Weekend and holiday requirements*Float Pool RN’s will float to multiple departments throughout the hospital**Orientation/Clinical Classes will take take place during normal business day hours, TBD by Onboarding* Float Pool Department Highlights:· Great opportunity to work in a variety of units· Self-scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth· Engaged leadership team· Level II Trauma· Four-Time Magnet Designated Facility· The only AACN Beacon Gold Adult Intensive Care Unit in the DFW areaHere’s What You Need:· Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or· Associate’s degree in nursing required or· Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred· 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required· Experienced RN looking to Transition to Acute Care/Telemetry Float Pool preferred· RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and· ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire required and· CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required· A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
