HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join an established and thriving primary care practice, with the opportunity to serve as Transitional Year Program Director in partnership with the UCF College of Medicine. Qualified Candidates: Join an established team of six experienced providers, including five Family Medicine physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider. Provide comprehensive Family Medicine care across all age groups, including chronic disease management, pediatric care, preventative medicine, minor in-office procedures, school and sports physicals, senior care, annual wellness visits, and well-woman exams.
Traditional outpatient schedule, Monday through Friday. Participate in a shared weekly telephone call rotation with physician colleagues. Benefit from robust ancillary support services, including in-house imaging with ultrasound capabilities for echocardiography, stress echocardiography, arterial and venous Doppler studies, carotid and aortic vascular imaging, Holter and event cardiac monitoring, bone densitometry, and on-site radiology services.
Access a fully compliant on-site CLIA-certified laboratory, providing convenient diagnostic services for patients. Board Certification in Family Medicine is required. Candidates interested in the Transitional Year Program Director role must possess a minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to effectively balance administrative responsibilities with resident education, mentorship, and clinical practice. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative leadership skills are essential. Participation in scholarly activities, including peer-reviewed research, publications, national presentations, or committee involvement, is strongly encouraged.
