✓Board certification by an ABMS or AOA-approved specialty board in a discipline relevant to the educational program.
✓Eligibility for and ability to maintain an unrestricted Arkansas medical license.
Certifications

Education
✓MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Prior experience as a Residency Program Director, Associate Program Director, or Core Faculty member. preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience in graduate medical education.
✓Demonstrated commitment to resident education, mentorship, and academic leadership.
✓Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
✓The position includes protected administrative time and institutional support commensurate with ACGME requirements and program needs.

About the role

The Transitional Year Program Director provides leadership, administration, and educational oversight for the ACGME-accredited Transitional Year Residency Program.

What you’ll do
Provide strategic and operationalProvide strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the Transitional Year Residency Program
Maintain substantial involvement inMaintain substantial involvement in resident education and program administration
