✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Current South Carolina RN licensure or a qualifying multistate/compact state RN license required.
Certifications
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required through the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA-recognized equivalent, or the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Providers.
Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) certification is preferred.
Education
✓Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA)
✓A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a minimum three years of registered nursing experience are required. Previous transplant nursing experience preferred.
Qualifications
✓Training for this position requires a minimum of 3 months and follows a hybrid model, combining on-site training at the downtown Charleston campus with remote training alongside an assigned preceptor.
✓Following completion of initial training, the position transitions to a remote work model
✓however, team members must remain flexible and available to attend monthly in-person meetings in Charleston and to participate in additional on-site training, meetings, or departmental activities as needed.
