The applicant will function as a researcher for an organ transplant. This includes helping with initiation of clinical trials and studies. Incumbent must exercise initiative and be able to make independent decisions and establish independent work routines.
Additionally, the individual should analyze clinical data, write abstracts and manuscripts. The research fellow must have a strong background in alternative and functional medicine theories and practices. Strong project management and data management experience to include implementing research studies, study content, performing statistical analysis, and presenting at professional conferences.
Hold strong organizational and technical skills for publishing and editing. Be a strong and clear communicator, written and verbal. Familiarity with medical or health services research terminology and basic research/statistical methodology.
Coordinate clinical trial activities utilizing the guidelines of the Investigational Review Board. Collect new data, code, transcribe, record, enter and store collected data. Must be able to interpret and organize qualitative and quantitative data.
Maintain accurate, neat documentation of study data. Generate reports detailing data collected. Assist in development of data tables, graphs and charts and preparation of material for presentations.
