and Responsibilities As our Transport/Patient Care Assistant, you will provide vital support by safely and efficiently transporting patients throughout the facility, while also offering direct patient care assistance, ensuring comfort and continuity during their healthcare journey. Every day you will transport patients to and from departments (e.g., imaging, therapies, admissions, discharge), assist with patient mobility, and provide basic patient care such as turning, repositioning, and feeding.
You will be expected to ensure patient safety during transport, maintain cleanliness of transport equipment, communicate effectively with clinical staff, and respond promptly to patient care needs, all while prioritizing patient comfort and dignity. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong interpersonal skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the physical stamina to assist patients and navigate a busy healthcare environment efficiently.
