Evaluates documentation for missing data elements. Abstracts clinical and demographic data from medical records for trauma patients. Reviews patient records for audit filters and performance indicators.
Maintains productivity standards in data management tasks. Reconciles data as new information becomes available. Provides input on policies and standards related to trauma data management.
Conducts E coding, ICD, and AIS coding for trauma patient records. Monitors and reports data trends in trauma care. Reviews the Trauma Quality Improvement Program for registry activities.
Mentors registry staff in data management practices. Evaluates Trauma Service performance using established audit filters. Compiles reports for regulatory agencies and committees.
