How you’ll make an impact in this role Join an established team of physicians and APPs Practice setting: inpatient patient population 15 years and up Employed position within a nonprofit health system Deliver comprehensive direct care by conducting thorough patient histories, physical assessments, and preventative screenings to build an accurate picture of each patient's current health status.
Formulate precise treatment plans by ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic procedures, ensuring timely intervention and continuity of care under physician supervision. Manage ongoing health conditions through direct therapeutic interventions and meticulous documentation, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient care journey. Empower patients and families by providing clear counseling on preventative health, treatment pathways, and community resources to improve long-term wellness and self-care.

American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support preferred American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.
