Certifications
✓Obtain certification in Heartsaver OR Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
✓To be completed as established by department: (Administered at Department level)
✓Successful completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course.
Education
✓High School Diploma or equivalent
✓Graduate of Technical Education Program or Medical Assistant Program.
Qualifications
✓Completion of annual required education related to specialty accreditation as defined by accreditation standards. Training may be completed through CBLs, trainings, In-services, and competency validation.
✓Ability to Troubleshoots technology with biomedical engineering and clinical staff.
✓Ability to work as a cooperative, focused team player, take direction well, and have a positive attitude to work with the patients, nursing staff, and physicians.
✓Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate standard office software.
✓Knowledge of medical terminology.
✓Good verbal/writing and mathematical skills.
