Vocational Training Preferred
N/A Required Licensure/Certifications : Sonography certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Effective November 1, 2022, within one (1) year of hire or transfer one of the following vascular certifications is required Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) OR Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) OR Vascular Sonography from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Preferred Licensure/Certifications : Vascular certification at hire or transfer Required
1-2 years sonography experience, including vascular. Preferred
More than two years performing general, vascular and OB/GYN sonography. Necessary
Knowledge of modern diagnostic sonography procedures and practices. Communicate procedures to patients. Approach and manage stress/traumatic situations in a calm manner.
