Ultrasound Tech II - Per Diem; Varied

Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Technologist will perform a variety of Ultrasound procedures. The technologist must demonstrate knowledge of both theoretical and practical applications of Ultrasound. The technologist must be able to work independently and produce a high quality study.

The technologist must be able to communicate effectively with the radiologist and provide additional information pertinent to the study. This position is required to take call on a rotational base. They are also required to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Must be a graduate of an approved ultrasound program, as well as, having additional Ultrasound Training that will qualify the employee to sit for the RDMS exam

One year of acute care experience in Ultrasound required; must meet the requirements of US 1. Licenses and/or

Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS course certified by the American Heart Association. RVT, Abdominal and OB registries required.
