Under the direction of a Radiologist and or the Ultrasound Lead Sonographer performs Ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed sound waves for radiologic diagnosis or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
Required Qualifications Require graduate of accredited Ultrasound school or equivalent. Required License and Certs ARDMS: Amer Reg Diagnostic Sonography BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR Position is part time, 20hrs per week working mainly evening shifts and a rotational Saturday Employment Screening Requirements As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System’s commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. https://info.flclearinghouse.com/
