/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Under the supervision of faculty or clinical preceptor, the student can perform functions for which he/she has the educational foundation to perform safely. “Intern” means an individual who is enrolled in a contracted formal educational program. A clinical preceptor is not employed by the educational program as a faculty member and facilitates student learning in a manner prescribed by a signed written agreement between the educational institution, preceptor, and affiliating agency (as applicable).

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and enrolled in a contracted formal educational program Required to complete two (2) hours of hospital provided continuing education hours upon hire and annually for Advanced Sterile Processing Certification. Education will focus on the handling of soiled instrumentation at the point of use and storage of instrumentation for sterile processing department pick-up LANGUAGE
