✓Requirements
Certifications
✓Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification.
✓Nuchal Translucency Certification within 90 days of entering position.
✓BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Education
✓Graduate of approved Ultrasound School.
✓A minimum of 2 years training in Allied Health/College.
Qualifications
✓A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in OB/GYN ultrasound.
✓Knowledge of all ultrasound equipment, their function and operation of each control.
✓Understanding of equipment and computer systems as well as the procedures for equipment service.
✓Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
✓Knowledge of safety, infection, and disaster policy and procedures, including implementation of patient care in cases of an emergency situation.
✓Ability to cover weekends on a rotation basis (roughly once every six weeks).
✓Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
✓Knowledge to aid in invasive fetal procedures with MFM specialists.
A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in OB/GYN ultrasound. preferred
