✓Requirements
Certifications
✓Registered or eligible for registration as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered as a vascular technologist with the Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute (CCI)
✓Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
✓Basic Life Support Certification with American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Education
✓Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
Qualifications
✓Registered within 6 months of hire and pass boards withing 1 year of hire.
✓Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
✓Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
✓Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
✓Previous clinical experience to be able to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, equipment operation, and to gain knowledge of patient care techniques.
