Responsibilities include serving as a lead, when direct leadership is unavailable, serving as a resource, and assisting in training.

The Senior Sonographer requires proficiency and thorough understanding of operating imaging equipment and procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining imaging standards. Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hoursExperience: 2 years of relevant experienceLicense: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certifications/Registries: ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 4 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area OR 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area and 7 years of applicable experience; Basic Life Support (BLS)In the state of Arkansas, ARDMS-RVT OR CCI-RVS OR ARRT-VS may be required within 12 months of hire and/or transfer depending on scope of role.
