The Senior Sonographer requires proficiency and thorough understanding of operating imaging equipment and procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining imaging standards. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care. Position Details:Minimum

Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hoursExperience: 2 years of relevant experienceLicense: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certifications/Registries: ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 4 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area OR 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area and 7 years of applicable experience; Basic Life Support (BLS)In the state of Arkansas, ARDMS-RVT OR CCI-RVS OR ARRT-VS may be required within 12 months of hire and/or transfer depending on scope of role.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:Ability to lead and motivate a team and assist in training. Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills. Thorough understanding of protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in operating imaging equipment. Knowledge of quality assurance protocols and accreditation standards.

  • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
