The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
One (1) year of full-time experience as an ultrasound technologist. Student experience is not considered qualifying. NOTE: To be considered for a position in the Vascular Lab, candidates must possess and maintain a current Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) License in addition to the above listed Certifications and Experience.
ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN TRAINEE Certification: Must possess and maintain current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Ob/Gyn, abdominal and adult echo cardiology (for cardiac services only) -OR- be eligible to take the ARDMS examination and pass within one (1) year of date of hire. Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The ideal candidate will possess at least one (1) year of full-time experience working in an acute care setting.
