Certifications
✓CPR certificate must be obtained within the probationary period and maintained throughout employment.
✓Active PCA certificate or PCA experience and EKG certificate and Phlebotomy certificate.
✓If the candidate does not have an active PCA certificate, successful completion of UAP, CNA, EMT, current enrollment in Nursing school and successful completion of Nursing Fundamentals, program prior to completion of the probationary period.
Education
✓Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent.

About the role

Performs delegated functions as a member of the Emergency Department to provide the following services: STAT requests for specimens and patients, discharge patients to designated areas, transport of patients as needed to dedicated areas. Utilizes the hospital wide computer system for order entry, admission, transfer and discharge functions (EMR).
