Unit Clerk - New Sage Inpatient Rehab Unit

✓Requirements
Education
High school diploma or GED. Software training in most current versions of word-processing programs and spreadsheets. Accreditation Records Technician (ART or eligible) by the American Health Information Management Associations or degree in Business Administration or Management preferred.
Qualifications
✓The following are the job requirements for the Unit Clerk position:
✓Understanding of pertinent federal, state, and local regulations governing confidentiality and release of medical records.
✓Familiarity with various types of documentation maintained in a medical, psychiatric, or rehabilitation setting.
✓Basic understanding of medical terminology.
✓Can work independently and productively with little supervision.
✓Good organizational skills.
✓Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
✓Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.
✓Minimum of five years’ experience in a healthcare setting with responsibilities in the quality assessment and improvement activities.
Ability to type (45 wpm) and use computer software programs preferred.
