✓ED/Geropsych: AB 508 Certification (if no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire
✓EKG course required.

Education
✓High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
✓Completion of a EKG or Rhythm interpretation course
Qualifications

About the role

The Unit Secretary/Monitor Technician performs clerical, and communication functions on assigned nursing unit. S/he monitors patients for arrhythmias and alerts proper personnel as needed. She/he provides courteous reception on the nursing unit and coordinates activities for patient care.
