✓BLS certification included in orientation program
Education
✓18 years old and completion of 12 college credits -OR- High school diploma/ GED with successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Basic computer knowledge and skills required.

✓Must demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, writing and listening skills.
✓Ability to work effectively in a team setting and be flexible required.
✓Knowledge of medical terminology required.

About the role
Unit Technicians assist with patient care to support the nursing practice of the unit under the direction of a registered nurse and/or licensed medical professional. The Unit Technician carries out designated activities that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.
