• The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina is recruiting a board certified/board eligible Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon with exceptional expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques and sports-related foot and ankle injuries. The incumbent will partner with our current orthopaedic faculty and clinical staff in serving patients in the Charleston tri-county area, including local and regional professional sport teams. Key Requirements & Qualifications Clinical Excellence:
• Board certification/eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery
• Exceptional proficiency in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgical techniques
• Specialized expertise in sports-related foot and ankle injuries including: o Arthroscopic procedures o Cartilage restoration techniques Research Commitment:
• Strong commitment to clinical research participation and leadership
• Willingness to be an active member of collaborative research teams
• Experience or strong interest in: o Patient-reported outcomes research o Surgical technique innovation studies o Multi-center clinical trials
• Publication record or demonstrated research potential Additional
