✓Eligibility for medical licensure in South Carolina, if applicable.
Certifications
✓Candidates : An academically oriented MD, MD/PhD, or PhD with 2-10 years of HLA laboratory experience, eligible for HLA Laboratory Director Certification from the American College of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ACHI), or currently in an HLA Director-in-Training program.
✓MD candidates must also be certified by the American Board of Pathology (ABP) in CP or AP/CP.
✓Relevant HLA laboratory pathology specialty training under a Certified Director.
✓CAP, AABB, ASHI, and FACT accreditations.
Qualifications
✓At least 2 years in histocompatibility testing, transplant immunology, and immunogenetics.
✓Ability to provide clinical laboratory support for solid organ and stem cell transplantation recipients and donors, and proficiency in assisting with reviewing and approving all types of histocompatibility and diagnostic testing.
