✓A bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or other natural, life or health care science and one year work experience directly related to the assigned research area.
Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology or other life science is preferred.
Qualifications
✓Strong organizational, record keeping, and interpersonal communication skills required.
✓Must be able to work with animals (mouse).
✓Physical Requirements: (Note: The following descriptions are applicable to this section: Continuous - 6-8 hours per shift
✓Frequent - 2-6 hours per shift
Preference will be given to candidates with experience of various laboratory techniques including animal husbandry, PCR and recombinant DNA work, western blotting, cell culture, histology and immunostaining, and microscopic imaging. preferred
Prior experience in lab management roles is preferred.

About the role

The individual will be under supervision of the PI, will participate in routine experiments and the maintenance of a basic biomedical science laboratory, with emphasis on transgenic mouse colony establishment and maintenance, embryonic and adult mouse histology and immunohistochemistry, light microscope imaging, preparation of solutions and reagents, equipment sterilization, and basic cell/tissue culture.
