UnityPoint Health – Grinnell provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in east central Iowa. A private, nonprofit, non-tax supported medical center, UnityPoint Health - Grinnell Regional Medical Center is the largest hospital in Iowa between Des Moines and Iowa City and serves more than 47,000 residents in 6 counties. Responsibilities Work independently alongside two staff members to provide care to Walk-In Clinic and Occupational Medicine patients Clinic sees Occupational Medicine patients by appointment, and sees general walk-in/walk-in occupational medicine patients by arrival PRN Clinic is open 6 days a week (closed on Sundays) M-F 8:00am - 7:00pm Saturday 8:00am - 2:00pm Avg. 25 patients/day Qualifications NP or PA Board Eligible or Board Certified Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt) We Offer: Competitive PRN rate About Grinnell: Grinnell boasts some of the area’s best independent restaurants, one-of-a-kind retailers and a quaint downtown anchored by the Merchants National Bank, one of eight “jewel-box” banks designed by architect Louis Sullivan, mentor to Frank Lloyd Wright.
