An on-site staff of Rad Techs and Medical Assistants who assist you by taking vitals, reviewing medications, applying splints and administering meds and vaccines. Flexible scheduling options: a larger pool of providers makes it easier to trade or pick up extra shifts. Options to rotate to other locations—enjoy meeting a diversity of staff and patients.

Job Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners Work Experience 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting required Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred Required Licenses/Certifications National Certification Active state medical licensure Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, etc.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills Strong communication and customer service skills

Following are the essential functions of the job. - Examining and treating patients - Taking patients’ medical histories - Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays - Making diagnoses and prescribing medications - Treating minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting - Recording progress notes for follow-up patients - Educating and counseling patients - Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients - Giving vaccinations, and referring patients to additional care - Each provider will work an anticipated four (4), eight (8) or twelve (12) hours per shift which will be assigned by an authorized representative of GoHealth Urgent Care - All other duties as assigned Note: this job description is not inclusive of all the duties of the position.
