You’ll need
Licensure
✓Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
✓Active state medical license
Qualifications
✓Experience treating patients across all age groups
✓Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
✓Strong communication and listening skills
✓Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers
✓As a Physician at Mercy-GoHealth, you’ll independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including:
✓Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
✓Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
✓Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
✓Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
✓Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care
✓Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
✓Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting
2 years of post-residency clinical experience, ideally in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting preferred
