✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Applicants should have a current state Radiologic Technologist license and possess a degree from an approved course in Radiologic Technology.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
✓Must be a member of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible and maintain registry once received.
Qualifications
✓Additional requirements include:
✓Hospital training during two years of Radiologic Technologist program.
✓Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
✓Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Experience in other x-ray departments, clinics, or medical offices highly desired. preferred
Desirable to belong to national, state and/or local societies. preferred
