We are seeking a board-certified Urologist with a strong surgical background to join a collaborative team in partnership with HCA Florida Memorial Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who thrives in a procedure-heavy environment and values advanced surgical care. The position is also responsible for coordinating and responding to medical emergencies and/or triage situations.
Essential Job Functions: Perform urologic surgeries and procedures in the outpatient and inpatient operating room setting. Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient and inpatient surgical practice. Educate patients regarding procedures, risks, and recovery.
Coordinate urgent consults and triage situations as needed. Qualified Candidates: Medical school diploma and successful completion of an accredited internship and urology residency program. Current, unrestricted Florida medical license.
Completion of accredited urology residency program (current residents encouraged to apply) Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with OR teams and multidisciplinary medical staff. Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule and participate in call coverage as needed.
Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a urologist in a surgical practice. A strong background in high-volume OR, procedural, and robotic surgical performance, along with an interest in helping build and grow a busy surgical practice. Comfortable managing post-operative patient recovery in an outpatient, inpatient, or hospital-based settings.
Familiarity with practice-specific workflows and facility-based safety protocols.
