The UT Tyler School of Medicine - D epartment of Surgery is currently recruiting for a faculty member who practices colorectal surgery. The applicant must be Board-Certified or eligible in General Surgery, have completed a colon and rectal surgery fellowship by the time of the appointment, and be eligible for a Texas Medical License.
All aspects of providing Colorectal Surgical procedures at a high-functioning Level 1 Trauma Center Academic affiliation with UT Tyler School of Medicine, including Medical Education, including Residents and Surgical Fellows MD or DO degree required. It will also aid as part of a medical education program expansion throughout the UT Health East Texas Health System. The building is scheduled for completion in fall of 2025.
