Qualifications
✓Proven Experience with an EMR
✓Excellent assessment and care coordination skills. Understanding or willing to learn important criteria (inclusion and exclusion) required for surgical or percutaneous valve therapy.
✓Understanding basic CTA requirements/risks/results and TEE requirements/risks/results prior to either surgical or percutaneous valve therapy.
1 year ICU experience preferred
Computer Skills: Basic ability to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (navigate in Windows, Outlook, epic EHR, etc.). preferred
Critical Thinking: Gathers and integrates critical information, recognizing and addressing underlying assumptions of others, to arrive at effective solutions; breaks down problems into simple tasks or activities; analyzes relationships among several parts of a situation. preferred
Interpersonal Communication: Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co- workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection. preferred
Nursing Process: Utilizes the nursing process to provide holistic, compassionate, safe, high quality, population based care. preferred
Patient Education: Provides patient educational information appropriate to the developmental level, learning needs, readiness, cultural values, and beliefs of patients and families. preferred
