You’ll need
Licensure
✓Require Vascular Access – Board Certified (VA-BC) or Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) within one (1) year of hire/transfer date for all employees who are hired or transferred into the position after 1/1/18.
FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License preferred
Certifications
BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR preferred
Education
✓Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
✓For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
BSN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Qualifications
✓Require a minimum of two (2) years of acute care clinical experience.
✓Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Prefer a minimum of one (1) year of vascular access experience including PICC insertion. preferred
Prefer membership in a professional organization associated with vascular access. preferred
About the role
Coordinate, insert, and/or maintain vascular access devices including but not limited to ultrasound peripheral intravenous catheters, Extended dwell catheters, Midline catheters, and Peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC). Care and maintenance of vascular access devices including all central lines and life ports in coordination with nursing.
