✓High School Diploma/GED
✓Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or appropriate training in vascular sonography.
Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred

What you’ll do
Uses cognitive sonographic skillsUses cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images
Responsible for the safetyResponsible for the safety, mental, and physical comfort of the patient while in the sonographer's care
Assures the exam orderedAssures the exam ordered is completed
If the exam requestedIf the exam requested is questionable, contacts the ordering physician to verify the order
Assures that images areAssures that images are stored under the correct patient’s name and medical record number
